Llama Tube Fly

This tutorial is a tube fly conversion of a lesser known vintage bucktail streamer. The fly itself can best be described as an attractor pattern that doesn’t really imitate any specific baitfish or food form. The red floss body is most likely the distinguished trigger in the design of the fly, and is a pattern that I learned about as a kid in a local book on my home waters, the Westfield river watershed. The fly itself is a champ for rainbows.
